I'm an aerospace engineering graduate of the BEng program at Toronto Metropolitan University. I've had a lifelong professional interest and passion for both aerospace and computer science, both for their interesting problem solving opportunities.
Since my youth I've maintained a fascination for all things aerospace. This evolved into me dragging my family along to a plethora of air & space museums, and eventually pursuing the industry as a career path. Simultaneously, my interest in electronics and programming developed. Since I began I've worked in many distinct languages, honing the core problem solving skills permeating computer science. An interest in avionics developed as an intersection of all these concepts as they focused each element on a common pursuit.
I completed a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Aerospace Engineering from Toronto Metropolitan University in 2023. I graduated with distinction, and a minor in Computer Science. Within my program I pursued the Avionics stream, taking some more courses related to electronics / circuit design and control system concepts.
I've previously spent summers working at Camp Mini-Yo-We; in my final summer I was one of two site directors tasked with operating the camp for the youngest age block (5-10). I often worked in roles associated with the waterfront, making use of my former National Lifeguarding qualifications. More recently I've volunteered there to help maintain their sailing program.
